Terms of Service

This agreement describes the terms on which you are offered access to SL-Kinks(sl-kinks.com, the "Service"). By creating an account and using SL-Kinks, you accept and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

SL-Kinks is a profile and tribute platform for Second Life™ avatars. It allows users to maintain a kink list, share it with others on their terms, and optionally receive Linden Dollar (L$) tributes via in-world objects.

SL-Kinks is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or specifically approved by Linden Research, Inc. Second Life™ and Linden Lab™ are trademarks of Linden Research, Inc. All rights reserved.

SL-Kinks contains adult content and is intended exclusively for adults. By using the Service, you confirm that:

• You are at least eighteen (18) years of age;
• Accessing adult content is legal in the jurisdiction in which you reside and access the Service;
• You understand that all kink lists, profiles, and ratings on SL-Kinks describe fictional preferences for fictional roleplay between consenting adult Second Life avatars.

SL-Kinks may modify these Terms of Service at any time, in which case SL-Kinks will notify you of any changes through the Service. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Creation of an SL-Kinks account is strictly reserved to Second Life™ residents who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. You sign in by clicking an SL-Kinks bracelet (or other registered SL-Kinks wearable) attached to your avatar; no email or password is required.

• An SL-Kinks account is tied to a single Second Life™ avatar UUID. You may not maintain more than one account per avatar.
• You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account and should notify us of any unauthorised use.
• You may not use someone else's account, sell, transfer, or assign your account to others.
• SL-Kinks may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are dormant for an extended period.

The publisher of SL-Kinks holds the intellectual property rights to:

• The brand: the platform name "SL-Kinks", its domain names, logos, and any associated visual identity.
• The website: all original content created by SL-Kinks, including text, graphics, the user interface, and layout.
• The software: the underlying code, including any apps, algorithms, and functionalities developed for the platform.
• In-world objects: the SL-Kinks bracelet, the SL-Kinks tribute jar, and any other scripted SL objects we distribute. These objects and the LSL scripts they contain are distributed with no-modify and no-transfer permissions. Reverse-engineering, modifying, copying, or redistributing these scripts is prohibited.

End user content: kink ratings, bio text, identify-as selection, title, and other content you enter into your profile remain your property. By posting it on SL-Kinks you grant SL-Kinks a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and display that content within the Service for the purpose of operating the platform. This licence terminates when you delete the content or your account, except to the extent that copies remain in backups for a reasonable retention period.

SL-Kinks offers a tribute mechanism whereby Second Life avatars may receive Linden Dollar (L$) payments through in-world tribute jars. Tributes may be used by recipients to gate parts of their profile (kinks, limits, full profile) until a payer has tributed.

SL-Kinks does not hold, process, or transmit Linden Dollars on your behalf.All payments occur directly within Second Life through Linden Lab's payment infrastructure between the payer and the recipient's wallet.

Platform fee: SL-Kinks retains a five percent (5%) platform fee on each tribute payment. The fee is debited from the recipient's Second Life wallet at the moment of payment via the LSL llGiveMoneyfunction, with the recipient's prior PERMISSION_DEBIT consent. The remaining ninety-five percent (95%) net amount remains with the recipient. SL-Kinks may, with reasonable advance notice through the Service, modify the platform fee for new tributes.

No refunds: All tribute payments are final. We do not offer refunds, reversals, or chargebacks. Disputes between payer and recipient must be resolved between the parties involved. SL-Kinks may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate accounts engaged in fraudulent or abusive payment behaviour.

Tax: each user is responsible for any taxes applicable to amounts they receive through tributes in their own jurisdiction.

To help promote respect, peace, and an enjoyable experience, the following standards apply to all interaction on SL-Kinks. Violation may result in restrictions, suspension, or termination of your account.

Intolerance

Use of derogatory or demeaning language based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability is prohibited. Actions that marginalise, belittle, or defame users or groups are similarly prohibited.

Harassment and assault

Communicating or behaving in a manner that intimidates, threatens, or causes annoyance or alarm is not allowed. Acts of intimidation, stalking, or bullying directed at any user will not be tolerated.

Disclosure

Sharing personal information about other users without their consent. including but not limited to real-world identity, gender, religion, age, marital status, race, sexual orientation, or real-world location. is not allowed.

Impersonation

Impersonating another Second Life avatar, claiming credit for content created by another user, or impersonating SL-Kinks or its publisher is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination.

The following content may not be created, shared, or otherwise transmitted through SL-Kinks under any circumstances:

• Content involving illegality of any kind, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), terrorism, or solicitation of unlawful acts.
• Sexual content depicting, simulating, or sexualising minors, including age-regression scenarios in which any participant is depicted as below eighteen.
• Sexual content depicting real, identifiable animals (zoophilia / bestiality).
• Real-world (non-fictional) non-consensual sexual content.
• Content that you did not create or do not have permission to use.
• Cruel or hateful content primarily intended to incite hatred or violence against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.
• Content primarily intended to evade limitations on prohibited content.

All kink listings on SL-Kinks describe fictional roleplay preferences between consenting adult fictional characters in Second Life.

SL-Kinks encourages users to report violations of these Terms. Reports may be sent in-world by notecard to [Publisher Resident]. SL-Kinks will review reports and keep the identity of the reporter strictly confidential where possible. Abuse of the report system may itself be sanctioned.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. SL-Kinks does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SL-Kinks and its publisher shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service. SL-Kinks' total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the total platform fees received from you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty Euros (€50), whichever is greater.

You may delete your account at any time. SL-Kinks may suspend or terminate your account at its sole discretion in case of violation of these Terms, of applicable law, or if your continued access poses a risk to other users or to the Service. Upon termination, outstanding tributes already paid to you remain yours; tributes paid by you to others are not refundable.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the competent court of the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection laws granting you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
